Custom Creations by
Kelly moved from a successful home based business into a retail location
in May of 2008. We selected our store location carefully; we
wanted it to easy to get to and not add so much overhead that we would
have to raise our prices. We were able to secure a spot that met
our criteria in the
In addition to the
100% natural soy and palm wax candles we make on site, our silk floral
designs, and our wedding rentals, once we moved into our retail store we
added: Willow Tree Angels and Figurines, Screenings Wall Art, a wide
selection of electric wax melters, unique baby blankets and custom gift
baskets, and many other great gift and home décor items.
Our biggest success in
2008 was our Homecoming Mums & Garters. We were overwhelmed with
the response to our creative, custom designs that were REASONABLY
priced. We offered an outstanding selection of choices – from
trinkets and braids for those who wanted to assemble their own, all the
way to completely blinged out triple mums! We will be gearing up
for the 2009 LISD Homecoming season beginning in June!
The biggest news in
2009 is all about our BALLOONS! Kelly is studying and testing to
get her CBA (Certified Balloon Artist) certification, and then she will
gain even more recognition in the industry. If you have not seen
our balloon art and balloon bouquets, you can’t know how creative,
unique, elegant, and all out FUN balloons can be!
Custom Creations by
Kelly has been a proud member of the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce
since we opened in May 2008. We still participate in local craft
